John Taylor -Conductor and Musical Director 

1978 - 2015

John was our conductor for over 30 years and in that time he enlarged our musical horizons, always presenting us with challenges and leading us with patience and good humour. 

He often sang bass solos at concerts, as well as conducting. His musicality and firm direction took us from strength to strength, and we miss him greatly. He lived for music and has left a lasting legacy.
